All quarry property has a mine plan for land restoration and reclamation when active operations cease. Bussen Quarries provides construction aggregate materials for LEED certified projects and strives for maximum recycling at each plant. We even reuse rain water and storm water runoff as a dust supressant on all haul roads. Believe it or not, Bussen owns more acres of untouched, natural habitiat than acres of active quarry property!
