The Bussen family has been mining crushed limestone to service the St. Louis area aggregate needs since 1882! With three production sites, we are one of the largest crushed stone producers in the Midwest area. We strive to produce high quality construction aggregates while maintaining excellent relationships with our community, customers and environment. Our ability to transform an abundant natural resource has helped many communities with the opportunity for economic improvements such as building better roads and highways, homes and schools, office buildings and hospitals.

Bussen's current quarry property totals over 3,000 acres of land. We have an experienced union labor force applying over 125 years of mining knowledge passed down from generation to generation. Each quarry location boasts upgraded crushing plants and state of the art scales to ensure your specific product is readily availble and quickly obtained.
