The Bussen Family started mining limestone at their Jefferson Barracks location in 1882. Today, the 600 acre site is much more than just a limestone quarry! Operations comprise of Bussen Quarries Inc., Bussen Terminal, and Bussen Underground Warehouse. In addition to the operations at Jefferson Barracks, Bussen has expanded to include two additional active limestone quarries.
